Ingredients
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup molasses
2 cups buttermilk
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan, knocking out excess flour.
In a large bowl, whisk together whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, baking soda, and brown sugar. Mix in molasses and buttermilk until just combined. Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake for one hour, or until done. Cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes, and then remove from pan. Cool completely before slicing.

Best Friend Doggie Biscuits recipe.
Ingredients
1 cup cornmeal
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 cup chicken broth
2 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease 1 cookie sheet.
In a large bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, and salt. In a separate bowl, beat the egg together with the oil. Stir in the chicken broth and parsley. Gradually add the egg mixture to the flour mixture, stirring to combine and make a soft dough. Working on a lightly floured surface, lightly knead dough. Roll out to a thickness of 1/2 inch. Cut into desired shapes with cookie cutters. Place cookies one inch apart on the prepared cookie sheet.
Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes or until firm.

2 small firm bananas. split lengthwise

2 maraschino cherries

In a bowl, combine the marshmallows, pineapple and whipped topping. Place banana halves in dessert dishes with two scoops of marshmallow mixture between. Drizzle with chocolate syrup; top with a cherry. Serve immediately.

1/2 cup crumbled bleu cheese

1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro

Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Stir in the carrots, celery, and onion, and cook 15 minutes. Pour in chicken broth. Mix in diced tomatoes with green chile peppers, black beans, sherry, and garlic. Season with cumin, cayenne pepper, and salt. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer 20 minutes. Mix in cilantro during last few minutes of cook time.
